What role are you applying for?
Pick the one closest to what you do — there's room to elaborate. We hire engineers, designers, writers and marketers who want their work to serve people, wherever they live. The application takes a few minutes and goes straight to the team.
SEVA does not hire for a bench. Every role exists because there is client work waiting for it, which means you start on real projects with real deadlines, working directly with the people who scoped them. We care more about what you have shipped than where you studied, and more about how you explain a decision than how many tools you list. Roles are remote, paid in the currency of the country you work from, and scoped around outcomes rather than hours online. If nothing open matches you but the mission does, apply anyway and say so in the notes. We keep applications on file for six months and reach out when a matching role opens, and we tell you when that window closes. Every application gets a reply from a person, never a form letter.
How applying works
- SEVA is a distributed team — no office, no headquarters — so location does not decide anything.
- We read every application ourselves. If there is a fit, we write back to arrange a conversation.
- You will always hear where you stand; nobody is left waiting without an answer.
What the application asks
- Your role
- Engineering, design, writing, marketing or something else. Pick the closest; the details come later.
- Your work
- A portfolio, a repository, a site you shipped — anything that shows what you have actually built.
- Why SEVA
- A few honest sentences. We are looking for people who care that the work serves someone.
- How to reach you
- Where you are, which time zone, and the best way to write back to you.
