Previous versions

Superseded versions of our policies and agreements, kept so it is always clear which terms applied at a given time. These are not current.

When a policy or agreement is replaced, the previous version is moved here rather than deleted, so anyone who accepted it can still read exactly what they agreed to. Archived versions are kept for reference only; the current document is always the one on the Legal Center page, and it states the date from which it applies.

Each archived document keeps its original title, its original effective date and the date it was superseded, and is listed newest first. If you need a copy of a version that is not shown here, or a comparison between two versions, write to legal@sevasystems.io and we will send it.

Why keep old versions at all? A policy is a promise about how we behave, and a promise changes meaning if the text behind it can quietly change. Keeping every superseded version public means a client who signed an agreement in one year can always see the exact wording that applied, and anyone comparing two versions can see precisely what moved. Changes to a current document are announced by email to the customers it affects before they take effect; small corrections that do not change meaning, such as a fixed typo or an updated address, are noted in the document itself.
